In-house development / IT
With our own IT department, we can solve everything you might need. We adapt to your specific requirements and the challenges you face, whether you're a startup choosing your first platform or an established company with internal and external teams.
There are many advantages to having an in-house IT department, but here are some of the most important:
We understand your business and your industry
We don’t just know the digital side, we understand how it affects your operations and your bottom line.
We have full control
Our department works in-house alongside other teams, giving us far greater control than if we were external consultants.
Flexibility
We adapt, adjust, and make sure everything works. We’re truly flexible.
Cost-efficiency
Thanks to our in-house team and large customer base, we don’t charge for most of our digital services. That makes onboarding with Shelfless much easier.
Expertise
We’ve worked with e-commerce, logistics, and digital solutions for many years. By keeping our department internal, we retain all system knowledge, which is crucial for speeding up every process.
Our proprietary WMS – DreamPack
We are extremely proud of our self-developed WMS (Warehouse Management System), DreamPack. This allows us to offer you, as a customer, several advantages for your logistics. With DreamPack, you get the opportunity to create a tailored solution that fits your company’s unique needs. It also gives you full control over warehouse operations, from goods reception to delivery.
With Shelfless’s proprietary WMS, you gain access to a system designed to meet modern warehouse management demands. Our WMS features an intuitive and user-friendly interface that provides complete visibility into your inventory.
Additionally, a Partner Portal is included, allowing you to monitor your warehouse in real time and access all essential information about your goods.
Having your own WMS also enables integration with other systems used in your business, such as e-commerce platforms, ERP systems, and accounting software. This makes it possible to automate processes and improve efficiency while reducing the risk of errors and mistakes.
An in-house WMS also gives you the flexibility to adapt warehouse management to your business’s specific needs and requirements. With DreamPack, we’ve developed the most suitable features and, over many years, collaborated with our customers to create even more, features now actively used in their operations. This is something we invite you to benefit from.
When you choose Shelfless as your warehouse management partner, you gain access to our expertise and experience in the field. Our team of IT specialists has deep knowledge of WMS and can help you create a solution tailored to your needs and requirements. The Partner Portal
How does the Partner Portal work?
Even though the warehouse is physically located with us, it’s important that you feel close to and have full insight into everything you need to know and manage regarding your orders and deliveries. To make this possible, we’ve created the Partner Portal, an efficient communication channel and a free tool for you as our customer. It’s designed to suit both startups and large established e-retailers, offering full control and traceability.
With the Partner Portal, you can track your products from arrival registration to when they are stocked in our warehouse. You can also follow orders in detail, with timestamps for each step in our process, all the way until the end customer receives the package. You’ll get a clear overview with statistics for your orders and daily operations, and you can manage cases and communication directly in the portal—handling orders, returns, or other matters.
In the Partner Portal, you can also:
• Create shipments manually outside your system
• Monitor daily or weekly operations in terms of order or product dispatch
• Add accounts and manage permissions for each user
• Communicate return actions for us to carry out
• Retrieve reports on stock levels, products, etc.

We communicate with you… digitally!
Perhaps one of the most important aspects is how you communicate with your warehouse, especially when you choose to outsource it. This is something we’ve prioritized, and we aim to communicate digitally and automatically with you or your team as much as possible.
No more traditional emails that require follow-up calls to check if someone saw them. No more back-and-forth file exchanges that waste time and breach GDPR.
Through our proprietary WMS, we’ve chosen to communicate with you in real time. As soon as something arises that requires your input, our WMS sends a request to you, and once you respond, operations resume at one of our sites.
Examples?
Missing PO during a delivery?
You’ll receive a request for the PO, upload it directly in the Partner Portal, and the delivery is immediately released for further processing.
Incorrect address on a customer order?
As soon as it enters our system, it appears as a query for you to update with the correct address.
Selling items not currently in stock?
No problem. You’ll get a prompt from our Partner Portal asking whether we should partially ship the order, wait for the missing item and ship it together, or cancel the unavailable item.
These are just a few examples of how we simplify and speed up communication with you. Of course, our Support team is here to assist with all operational matters, and our Account and Key Account Managers are ready to support you throughout our collaboration.
Integrations
We offer a wide range of integrations, and if a system comes up that we haven’t already integrated with, we’ll solve it immediately. Whether it’s your platform, payment solution, accounting system, marketplaces, or any other system - we handle it.
- Integrations with standard systems take just a day, and we usually cover the cost.
- Advanced integrations are handled internally.
- Ready-made integrations via API or plug-and-play solutions.
Integrate your business with us
By integrating your system with our WMS, you can manage your orders and inventory smoothly and efficiently. We offer free integration with all major e-commerce platforms and ERPs, such as Business Central, Visma, WooCommerce, Shopify, and more.
When you choose to integrate your system with our WMS, you gain full visibility over your inventory and order management, while saving time and money by outsourcing logistics to us. Letting us handle your logistics allows you to focus on growing your business and delivering better service to your customers.
We monitor all integrations
Not only do we handle the integration for you, we also monitor it to ensure nothing goes wrong. If any issues arise, we resolve them so your operations remain unaffected. Everything is trackable in real time. We also maintain and update integrations, for instance when new versions are released.
Not just a WMS, we operate our automation too
When a logistics flow meets the digital world and is complemented by automation, real magic can happen. To make this as seamless as possible, we’ve made our WMS the heart of our operations. It communicates with our customers’ systems, manages flows at our sites, and controls all automation linked to production.
This allows us to offer a world-class service where automation isn’t treated as a third-party solution, it’s fully integrated. That means we can provide a wide range of tailored solutions for our customers’ unique flows.
Or as our customers put it: “It just works.”
Five tips for a successful integration
We’ve handled integrations for many years. Here are five tips from us, whether you're integrating with our systems or any other:
1. Plan the integration carefully
A successful WMS integration requires thorough planning. Identify all systems that need to be connected and ensure they’re compatible. Define clear goals and requirements for the integration.
2. Use standardized protocols and formats
Standardized protocols and formats ensure smooth and seamless integration. They simplify data transfer between systems and reduce the risk of errors and data issues.
3. Test and validate the integration
Before launching, it’s essential to test and validate the integration to ensure everything works as intended. Run tests in a controlled environment and verify that all data is transferred correctly.
4. Update and maintain the integration
A WMS is constantly evolving, so it’s important to maintain and update the integration over time. Monitor performance and security, and make updates when new systems or features are introduced.
5. Involve team members from different departments
Successful WMS integration requires collaboration across departments. Involve representatives from all teams that will use the system to ensure the integration meets the needs of all users.
Good luck!
